About Us
I am an Australian-American and have lived here in the US since 2006. I was a diesel mechanic by trade for over 20 years, and have skills in welding, machinery use for land projects, and small construction. Each job I have is performed to the best of my ability without cutting corners. My reputation among people means everything to me. I pride myself with honesty, trustworthiness, workmanship, and respect for my customers.
I am married to a wonderful and supportive woman, and together we have four children. They all make up my world. We live a simple, down-to-earth life and strive to help people wherever we can.

I can't recommend Steve and True Southern Service and Repair highly enough. Steve completely rebuilt our ~300 sq ft wood deck and finished it with the Trex Deckorator series, and the results exceeded our expectations. The project included all-new railing, widened steps that made the deck far more functional and inviting, and low-voltage lighting installed along the posts and steps that looks fantastic in the evening.
From start to finish, Steve was professional, skilled, and clearly took pride in his work. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are top-notch, and the finished deck is beautiful and built to last. If you're looking for quality work done right, Steve is your guy.
